Design Headquarters Interior

Design Brief

Dimensions Corporate Wear is the leading supplier of corporate clothing to large and multi divisional organisations in the UK and Europe.

The new design headquarters offices are a catalyst for creative thinking, inspiration and innovation. The brief includes interior design and spatial arrangement of lobby/reception, meeting rooms and break-out area, design lab, sales, customer services, director’s offices, and showroom. Themes to be explored are urban, vogue and timeless environment. The designed environment aims to reflect the business and the corporate identity and values of this creative company.

A flexible design is required with adaptable furnishings whilst retaining a sense of continuity of thinking from area to area. Essentially this was an open plan office scheme on several floors including scope for management offices and meeting rooms.

Project Outline

Challenges Faced
We faced a number of exciting challenges while working on this project. The project had to be delivered to a very tight deadline so our careful structured scheduling ensured we were still achieving quality results without any wasted time. As a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method ) rated building, we needed to source and commission the best suppliers of sustainable products and materials.

We created an open plan feel by introducing a glass interface structure. This helps to make employees feel part of a team, whilst having their own identifiable working zones areas.

New ideas or strategies
We faced a number of exciting challenges while working on this project. The project had to be delivered to a very tight deadline so our careful structured scheduling ensured we were still achieving quality results without any wasted time.

As a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) rated building, we needed to source and commission the best suppliers of sustainable products and materials.

We created an open plan feel by introducing a glass interface structure. This helps to make employees feel part of a team, whilst having their own identifiable working zones areas.

How is the outcome sustainable
Together with our ideas and suggestions for recycling, we introduced a highly efficient, on demand hot water system called Quooker. We also designed into the scheme a healthy water filtration system.
