Design Brief
Our clients Dimensions Corporate wear wanted the design to be an urban, vogue and timeless with an open feel. It was also important that the design was to contain sections were clients and staff where able to hold private conversations.
The space will to be used at different times of the day catering for around 200 people.
The space will be self service: and will contain self service tea/coffee maker and Refrigerator/ chillers.
A relaxing feel was needed to be created for the space, so that staff and clients could feel at home. The clients also suggested that they would like bespoke booth seating to be designed as this would work well to allow for private meetings.
Project Outline
Challenges faced
We faced a number of exciting challenges while working on this project. The Breakout area was a blank canvas; therefore we used the design package AutoCAD to create the most space effective furniture layout plans. This helped us to ensure we were still achieving quality results without any wasted time.
New ideas or strategies
The clients had requested areas for small group meetings. Therefore we designed bespoke booth seating, which is great for group meetings, small discussions or just a private chat.
How is the outcome sustainable
We created an open plan sustainable feel by using natural light coloured woods such as bamboo, ceramic flooring and light and clean eco paint. We are also very fortunate to have amazing sustainable eco friendly supplier who worked with us on the design.
