Design Brief
Breakout / small meeting room
As part of The University of Liverpool the new space will be used for corporate training by both in house and available to outside clients via bookings.
The room will hold up to 14 people, creating an environment that all staff and students will be proud of, holding a soundproofed adjoining wall for privacy.
The furniture chosen will have to be flexible to accommodate movable tables and stackable chairs.

Challenges faced
As the meeting room is only small it was important that the right colours and fabrics were chosen to create a spacious fresh feel.
New ideas or strategies
This room was designed to hold small team talks and meetings. Therefore an intimate feel was incorporated into the design. Clean cool colours were used on the walls and bold colours were within the furniture to create a bold contrast.
How is the outcome sustainable
We used the most sustainable furniture, fabrics and materials available to us.
